Borstelfabriek Holland, which operates internationally as Cosma, is a family business established in 1948. Since 1983 our core focus has been on applying brush technology to the treatment of wood. We have many years of experience and we have built up extensive knowledge of mechanical sanding and, more recently, wood structuring. We believe in working together with our clients as partners. We aim to help implement quality and process improvements which can, in turn, lead to cost savings. All our brushes and machines are developed and built in-house. Cosma brushes and Cosma sanding machines are used by many manufacturers in the woodworking industry, in particular by kitchen manufacturers, furniture makers, parquet floor producers and the joinery industry. They use our products not only for sanding wood but also for sanding the first layer of lacquer. In addition, the last decade has seen a trend towards the use of brushes for distressing wood to create an antique finish. We trade mainly in Europe and the United States.
